When I set up “Let’s do Lunch: An Urban Girl’s Guide to Making Contacts and Keeping Them” (approaching its three-month anniversary ironically on the day of Black Blossoms Conference), I couldn’t have imagined the vast opportunities it would bring in such a short space of time.

My week began on a high note.
Less than a 7 days after hosting “An Artist Talk” with Sara Shamsavari at London College of Communication, I was back in the presence of the British-Iranian visual artist and photographer on Monday for the exhibition preview of London Veil/Paris Veil/NYC Veil at Library in Convent Garden. Thankfully over the weekend I was joined with friends of Let’s do Lunch at Trafalgar Square for African on the Square 2015! Saturday the 10th Oct was the day thousands of Londoners and visitors got an opportunity to join together in celebration of African culture in the heart of London, part of Black History Month organised by the Mayor of London.
