‘The visionary in me’, as captured yesterday during my meeting with Marksteen Adamson, Partner & Co-founder Agency ASHA & The Big Cold Turkey Foundation, at The Hospital Club. After an in-depth conversation about diversity, allyship and exploring self-identity, we proceeded onto doing a test shoot for his #InternationalWomensDayIsEveryday portrait photography series. Great to have been invited to a space where creative ideas can flourish…
So what’s my vision you ask?
Well, I have my eyes firmly set on my goals to use Diversity Matters and Let’s do Lunch Network help support companies address address intersections of and gender diversity (or the lack of) in their workplace, organise events using food as an catalyst for open and honest discussion, and whilst simultaneously running two platforms – remember not to neglect my mental wellbeing… Got my eyes on the prize #DiversityMatters
“The difference between a dreamer and a visionary is that the dreamer has their eyes closed, and the visionary has their eyes open…” – Martin Luther King
Another ‘meaningful connection’ made… There’s no doubt we’ll be doing lunch soon – thanks for the human connection Marksteen!

Hey Kai,
Just wanted to say, I love the pictures, they are so original with tribal inspired colours. Every colour reflected on your skin tells an ancestral story. I love how the images portray a life size model that brings confidence and newness to a modern day. A picture can only speak volumes if the image it captures is gives it inspiration. Well in short you are inspirational!
