I edited this video especially for the #Art4ChangeHaiti project blog, however I thought I’d share it on Let’s do Lunch – The Urban Guide, as it shows a good lesson about getting social – outside social media!
I’m crowd-funding for this project to teach art to children living in camps in Haiti. Now, this crowdfunding ain’t as easy as you mind think I’d be – especially if you haven’t a following like Spike Lee. So when I heard about The Africa Live Festival event in Burgess Park last weekend, I headed there with two friends, Ale and Nicolo from Italy. It was a refreshing change speaking to people face-to-face about the cause, rather than general social media messages hoping someone will read them. Also capturing the support from individuals I met and getting a general vibe of the event, hopefully means they’ll want to check it out online and – voilá – donate!

It all kicks off in a few days when I leave for Haiti via, 1st stop – New York City! Follow www.art4changetheworld.org for updates
