Serving tasty and tantalising Caribbean cuisine at affordable prices, Blooming Scent was a refreshing retreat for lunch just adjacent to the Enterprise Centre during the 4-day Princes’ Trust Business Enterprise Programme I attended in July.

I was lucky enough to meet the founder Gina Moffatt, who has personally hosted Princes Charles at her cafe/restaurant. I discovered that Gina had started her business just the was I was about to – with the support of the Princes’ Trust. Her words of advice for me after sparing a few minutes away from the till to listen to my “elevator pitch” (all three of them) was; “Just do it! All of them. Take every opportunity you can.”

And on that note, I took the opportunity to get a selfie with the Blooming Scent business entrepreneur to remember that moment!
